Thanks Kimanie. I agree that I could have probably played with the background a bit more, maybe it's something I could revisit in the future. The end decision was based on staying true to the photographic reference as well as seeing if I could make the background look a bit out of focus and achieve a depth of field effect using the sharpness of vectors. I guess I could have just blurred the edges to accomplish that but then what would I have learned right? I appreciate the feedback, take care!

Through Wit's End Somethings about this doesn't seem sensible...
O see how I drown in this sea The deformity of her overall structure is lovely. Nothing is too perfect about her. Love the way that string of hair aggressively latches onto her face.
Samura Moon A very selfless, abstract peice. This is definitely a paracosm steroid. The lack of detail enabled me to build a story around the character.
Alone and Together at last This is awesome. The soft texture strains any grain of emotion this peice has. Never saturates the vibe.
